Shady Palm Beach Surf Camp first opened it's doors in 2002.
It is perfectly situated right on the keyhole to the world famous Nias righthander.
Run by the Luaha family, it is a regular home away from home from tourists and
surf travelers from all corners of the globe.

His wife Eka is the masterchef, preparing a wide array of culinary delights in both
Western and traditional Indonesian styles

Accommodation
On offer are a variety of single, double and twin rooms with or without ensuite.
All rooms are made in the traditional bamboo architectural style and include a
pedestal fan, mosquito net, cupboard, writing desk and area for surfboard storage.
There is also a balcony with hammocks and a spectacular view of the surf break.

Getting There
Shady Palm Beach Surf Camp is located at Sorake Beach.
Flights go daily from Medan to Gunung Sitoli and take about 45 minutes.
Once you arrive at Binaka Airport it is about 2.5 hours drive to Sorake Beach.
There is no local bus, but taxis are readily available and for prior bookings
a free hotel transfer is included.
